James Moore is the founder of EVPlugz and a specialist in electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, with over five years of experience in the electrical industry focused exclusively on electrification.
With a professional background in Orthopedic and Neurosurgery, James developed a deep appreciation for specialization, precision, and high performance systems and applied that same approach to the rapidly evolving EV infrastructure industry. As electric vehicle technology rapidly evolved, James recognized early the growing demand for specialized expertise in EV charging infrastructure and founded EVPlugz to deliver innovative, scalable, and future ready EVSE solutions for residential, commercial, and public sector customers.
Under his leadership, the company has completed more than 500 EV charger installations across Florida, spanning residential properties, commercial fleets, hospitality, multi-family housing, and municipal infrastructure.
EVPlugz has supported projects for a range of notable clients and organizations, including major hospitality groups, municipal governments such as the City of Satellite Beach, fleet operators like Safelite Autoglass, and large multi-family housing portfolios for Greystar Property Management. The company also holds partnerships and works closely with leading manufacturers and networks including Tesla, BMW, GM, ChargePoint, and EV Connect.
Beyond project execution, James is actively involved in shaping the future of EV infrastructure. He participates in the Infrastructure Committee for Drive Electric Florida and has contributed to discussions with state and federal policymakers on transportation electrification and alternative energy. His insights have also been shared in conversations with global organizations such as Bloomberg Business, focusing on EV adoption trends and policy frameworks.
Under his leadership, EVPlugz has earned national recognition, including Qmerit’s #1 Sales Team in 2024 and #2 in 2025, as well as winning the Florida School of Business Veterans Pitch Competition.
James is particularly focused on expanding EV charging access in underserved areas, especially within multi-family housing, where infrastructure gaps remain a barrier to adoption. He is also driving innovation in next-generation solutions such as bidirectional charging and Ai smart load management to support grid resilience and distributed energy systems.
